If there are no outbound restrictions on your firewalls, you do not need to act. However, if you do have outbound restrictions on your firewalls, it is necessary to perform the following steps to use your Infront Professional Terminal successfully.
Open your firewalls to Infront’s IP addresses. Please white-list *.infrontservices.com and the following IP addresses:
-
37.122.251.0/25
-
82.99.14.192/26
-
146.247.171.0/26
-
83.145.38.160/27
-
128.127.8.0/22
Ports & Protocol
-
80/tcp
-
443/tcp
-
11111/tcp
-
40000/tcp
Once you have white-listed the IP addresses:
-
Under the "Login Server" section, select the "Use DNS names" checkbox. Click "OK" and restart Infront Professional Terminal.
-
If this does not work, go to "Login Server", open the "Web sockets" drop-down list and select "Forced (ws/wss)". Click "OK" and restart Infront Professional Terminal.
-
If this does not work, set "Web sockets" to "Forced Secured (wss)". Click "OK" and restart Infront Professional Terminal.
Infront has several IP addresses to create inter-chained links between the client and the source. Adding a so-called load-balancer on top of the server environment will add another link in the chain, thus making it less secure. Infront’s environment runs from several locations, whereby the switchover mechanism is built into the client.
